AppearanceSirius is tall with a lean physique. He has red, ruffled hair and amber eyes. He wears a white t-shirt underneath a fur-hooded jacket, dark denim jeans, a brown belt with a silver chain attached, and black shoes.FC: Mikoto SuohPersonalitySirius is laid-back and lazy. He finds even the bare minimum to be hard work. At times like this, as well as any situation, he resorts to sleeping or smoking.He cares little about anything and anyone, mainly due to his natural distance from people. He believes that people fear him, which he hated at a young age, but now pretends to have come to terms with it. This has led to him becoming arrogant, believing this fear that people have of him gives him the upper hand. This aside, he is sarcastic, cocky and opinionated when interacting with others. He also uses a hint of charm and flirtation to get his way with women. These are all traits that make it hard for him to befriend, let alone affiliate with anyone.

Hose Hose no Mi - Model: RubyThe Hose Hose no Mi is a gem paramecia fruit that was consumed by Sirius at a young age. He has the ability to create and manipulate rubies. Unfortunately, not many abilities have been discovered by Sirius, for only once has he used one of the strongest abilities, which is unknown. To this day, he refuses to use his devil fruit powers if he has control over it.

History

In the West Blue resided a peaceful neighbourhood of citizens. Bliss bloomed in that town, especially due to the group of kids that never missed a day to be with one another. This group consisted of Sirius and 11 others, similar in age. They were adventurous and loved to play. Living near the ocean, they always wished to go sailing together and made a promise to make that wish come true once they were of age.At the age of 10, the kids spotted a ship in town. Its shimmer could blind the whole population by its golden coating, accented with gems of different hues. The ship belonged to Safar Abbas, the wealthiest man in the town of Regalia, situated in Sandy Island. He arrived as a means to let his business be known to other parts of the Grand Line. With an assumed empty ship anchored by the port, the group couldn't help but let their curiosity take control. They ran around the outer deck, before sneaking through to the indoors. Peeking through one room after the next, Arcane couldn't help but pause by the sight of what was in the room. 12 unique looking fruits were barricaded by glass cases. However, the shine they carried made the fruits look far too appealing for the kids to ignore. Sirius, alongside the others, followed Arcane's lead. Thrilled there was one fruit for everyone, they sought to lifting the glass cases and smashing them on the floor until the case shattered, leaving the fruits vulnerable and ready to eat. Designating one fruit to each other, they all began to devour them. Some hated the ever-so bitter taste it carried, while others weren't phased by it. As to be expected, yelling could be heard from the other room. Words brought up like 'intruders' and 'fruits' were more than enough for the kids to get themselves back up and bolt out of the inside, and hop off the ship; all this escape while finishing off their fruits. Fortunately, they hid in the bushes just in time for them to not be found by the 'guards', but knew this was the catalyst for their journey to commence.Strange happenings were shortly discovered on their long walk. Shards that looked like sapphires dropped from one's hands, while one turned their leg into a leg-shaped emerald. Zenaida, having known about devil fruits, was stunned to realise that what they consumed were in fact devil fruits - however different models that were based on gems. All were identified; all except Sirius'. For some reason, he wasn't able to perform an ability with the fruit he ate. Some sympathised, while others joked and called his fruit a 'dud'. Either way, this discouraged and upset him. He wasn't sure why this was the case, but he refused to believe that it was a false fruit.As five years passed, the group didn't travel far - just enough for a dinghy to sustain from town to town in the West Blue. They discovered more together, especially their devil fruit abilities. Unfortunately, Sirius still couldn't grapple onto his devil fruit. Times where he gained momentum would fall short. He felt weak and like a let down, especially when the teens encountered unwanted people. He would sit by the sidelines, watching his friends take others on with ease. No matter if one wasn't strong enough, the other could pick them up and protect them, protection that Sirius couldn't offer to the others.One night in the inn they situated in for a while, Sirius was outside with Himari, who he was complaining about not being good enough for the group. Himari continued to assure him that he will figure his abilities out in no time, even offering to stay with him until he managed to perform something. Through the night, she kept helping him through her mindsets and poses, in which his attempts failed. The more they tried, the more furious he became. Calming down was out of the picture, his anger building up to a tragic climactic point. At the brink of giving up, his furious nature created a red, shimmering blast that emitted from his body. The accumulation of shards pierced through surrounding objects, and sadly other people - Himari was caught within the attack. The remainder of the group hurried outdoors at the sound of an explosion, their sight being Sirius on his knees and yelling for Himari to wake up, next to her lifeless body. Taking her body from Sirius' grasp, they refused to go anywhere near him, fearing the same thing could happen to them. The damage outside was monstrous. Luckily for them, Sirius refused them to come closer, and as a result ran away from his group, unable to pursue his dream of sailing the seas with them.For the remainder of his years, he travelled on his own. From being a stowaway, temporarily joining crews and even stealing ships for himself. He kept a calm composure through his ventures, resorting to hands and feet combat alongside a mediocre katana sword, anything to prevent his power from appearing again. Little did he know that his ability was wanted by Safar Abbas - not that Sirius would be a wanted man himself due to his refusal of using the devil fruit. However, word spread like wildfire that an incident happened in town, one of Abbas' beloved devil fruits as a result of it upon finding shards of rubies within the debris.
